Use Microsoft Band to Analyze and Record Engagement and Emotions

Available now only on for Android users, a new app called Emotionalyze uses the breadth of the Microsoft Band 2’s sensors and records your emotions to YouTube videos.

Here’s the features so far:

  • Get instant feedback on how engaged and excited you were during watching the video, by the second
  • Record your emotions by using your Microsoft Band 2 sensors
  • Compare your emotional reactions with those of others
  • Browse videos with their engagement curves and rating
  • Check the newest videos with Emotionalyze scores
  • Watch videos with the top score

Creepy? Or, ultra-cool and modern?

The app is currently in beta and those installing it are essentially signing on as early adopter to test the current iteration but also planned features such as social media sharing of emotions, long-term emotion tracking, auto-rating of videos using your emotion data, and others. A Microsoft Band 2 is required.
