Unix users can't talk to an Exchange box without Exchange demanding authentication domain\user, why?

A. This can be corrected by allowing anonymous access to News as follows:

1. Start the Exchange Administrator program (Start - Programs - Microsoft Exchange - Microsoft Exchange Administrator)
2. Expand the Org, site, Configuration and Protocols
3. Double click NNTP
4. Select the Anonymous tab
5. Check the "Allow anonymous access" box
6. Click Apply
7. Click OK
8. Close the Exchange Administrator program
