Troubleshooter: Correcting an OWA Name-Resolution Glitch

I set up a new organizational unit (OU) on my Exchange 2000 Server system (company.com) so that I could segregate users from a subsidiary company (other-company.com). This method works, but when a user in the other-company.com OU uses Outlook Web Access (OWA) to reply to a meeting request, the request appears to be from user@company.com. This discrepancy is annoying, if not critical. Do you know of a fix?

A fix is available. The Microsoft article "XWEB: Name Resolution Does Not Work Correctly in an OWA Appointment" (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q298911) discusses this problem. Although the article implies that you can find the fix in Exchange 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2), you actually must call Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS) to get a post-SP2 hotfix.
