Translating text

  1. Select the text.
  2. Right-click and choose Translate.

    The Research task pane appears.

  3. Select the language you want to translate From and To.
  4. Click the green arrow to submit the text for translation.
    Text sent to the translation service is sent unencrypted over the Internet, so it is not advised to use Word's default translation capabilities to translate proprietary or other restricted information.
  5. Copy and paste the text into your document.
