Third Brigade Looks To Service Providers To Expand Market Share

Third Brigade, maker of intrusion detection (IDS) and intrusion prevention solutions (IPS), announced a newly expanded partner program aimed at helping service providers better secure their customers applications and data.

The partner program centers around the company's host-based Deep Security IDS/IPS software product that can protect Windows 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, Windows Vista, RedHat Linux, SuSE Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, and VMware environments.

Third Brigade hopes to tailor a partner solution for Internet service providers (ISPs), application service providers (ASPs), managed service providers (MSPs), and managed security service providers (MSSPs) that fits each service provider's needs as providers work to become compliant with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), Health Insurance Portability, Accountability Act (HIPAA), Payment Card Industry (PCI) rules, as well as other standards and regulations. Third Brigade will offer flexible terms on purchases and licensing as well as comprehensive training along with support for marketing, sales, and product administration.

"We recognize that every Service Provider has different needs, and that a one-size-fits-all approach simply won't work," said Wael Mohamed, president and CEO at Third Brigade. "By offering highly flexible business terms, we're helping to ensure the success of service providers as they expand their offerings, and address the rapidly growing market for host-based security."
