Select non-contiguous text

In Word 2000 and earlier, you could not select two parts of your document if they were not contiguous (next to each other). Now, you can.

  1. Select the first text.
  2. Press and hold the CTRL key as you select additional text.

  • Web page addresses and e-mail addresses turn into links automatically.
