Q. When Windows Defender definitions are updated in Windows 2000, you receive '0x80240022 - the wrong diskette is in the drive'?

When Windows Defender definitions are updated in Windows 2000, either manually, or because you configured it to automatically check for new definitions, you receive:

0x80240022 - the wrong diskette is in the drive. Insert %2 (Volume Serial Number: %3) into drive %1.

To workaround this behavior, use Windows Update to scan the computer and select Software, Optional for a root certificate update.
