Q. What resolutions can I use on my computer when it's connected to a television?

A. If you're connecting your computer to a TV, the resolution you use will depend on if you have a standard definition (non-HD) TV or an HDTV with support for 720p, 1080i, or 1080p display. The table below lists the resolution of each type of TV display.
