Q. I'm trying to place my computer in sleep mode but it just stays powered on. What's wrong?

A. I recently built a new desktop and had this exact problem. The BIOS wasn't configured with the correct sleep setting. Boot into the BIOS and make sure the ACPI suspend setting is set to S3 only, not S1 or S1&S3, as shown here.
