Q. How can I log the Windows Server 2003 ADS (Automated Deployment Services) process?

To turn on detailed logging for the ADS process:

1. Open a CMD.EXE window.

2. Type reg add HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Tracing\AdsBuilderSvc /V EnableFileTracing /T REG_DWORD /F /D 1 and press Enter.

NOTE: The %SystemRoot%\Tracing\Adsbuildsvc.log file will contain the logged information.
