Q: Can a Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V virtual machine (VM) boot from the new virtual Fibre Channel HBA?

A: No. The virtual Fibre Channel HBA available in Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V, although very useful to give virtual machines (VMs) direct access to Fibre Channel connected storage, can't be used to boot the VM.
