Q. How do I pair a new Xbox One controller with my Xbox One?
A. If your controller stops working with your Xbox One or you have a new controller then pairing is fairly easy.
If you have Kinect, simply hold down the pairing button on the top of the Xbox One controller and it will pair with the Xbox One.
If you do not have a Kinect for your Xbox One then, in addition to pressing the pairing button on the controller, you also need to press the pairing button on the left side of the Xbox One console next to the USB port as shown.
