NT Gatekeeper: Determining Whether a User Has Dial-up Permission

The Net User command lets you retrieve and set a variety of Windows NT user account properties but can't tell you whether a user has remote access (aka dial-up) permission. Do you know of a command prompt tool that provides this functionality?

The rasusers.exe tool in the Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0 Resource Kit displays a list of all user accounts that have dial-up permission on a particular server or domain. To obtain a list of accounts that have remote access permission in a domain, type the following at the command line:

rasusers <domain_name>

where domain_name is the name of the domain. To obtain similar information for a particular server, type

rasusers \\<server_name>

substituting the name of your server for server_name.
