Microsoft Health for Windows 10 Mobile Updated to Match Android’s Weekend Release

In a rare weekend occurrence, the Microsoft Health app for Android updated over this past week, bringing only a couple new features and bug fixes. Read about those HERE.

Overnight, a similar update has been made available for Windows 10 Mobile. Those that have applied it are already reporting that this new version brings at least one of the new features made available for Android users – and that’s the “your Band is fully charged” notification.

The sync schedule customization is not available in the Windows 10 Mobile version, and the Windows 10 desktop version has yet to update, but that should happen shortly.

We’re already half-way into July and Band owners have yet to see a big feature update this month. Since the Band 2’s release, Microsoft has delivered a stack of new customer-requested features each month and then subsequent bug fixes to the new features throughout the remain of the month. So far this month, we’ve only seen bug fixes and minor features. Rumors suggest that Microsoft will deliver a 3rd iteration of its fitness wearable in October when the company is planning a new hardware launch to bolster holiday sales. If the Band team is focused on the next version, it could be the reason why we’ve yet to see a big feature update this month.

Time will tell.
