JSI Tip 9614. The Windows XP installation program hangs and you receive a low disk space error?

When you attempt to install Windows XP, the Setup program stops responding and you receive a low disk space error.

This behavior can occur if the partition you selected for installation is a hidden diagnostic / tools partition created by your computer manufacturer.

To resolve this behavior, make sure you select another partition for the installation.
