JSI Tip 9560. The Sends Router Advertisements option and the Forward Packets option are disabled after you restart Windows Server 2003?

After you install Microsoft TCP/IP protocol version 6 on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and use the netsh interface ipv6 set interface <number of the interface> forwarding=enabled advertise=enabled command, restarting the server causes the Sends Router Advertisements and Forwards Packets options to be disabled.

To workaround this problem, use a Startup script to run the
netsh interface ipv6 set interface <number of the interface> forwarding=enabled advertise=enabled command.
