JSI Tip 9364. How do I remove the 'All Programs' button from the Windows XP Start menu using group policy?

In tip 5773, we used the NoStartMenuMorePrograms Value Name to remove the All Programs button from the Windows XP Start menu.

You can use Group Policy to remove the All Programs button from the Windows XP Start menu:

1. Open the Group Policy Editor and navigate to User Configuration / Administrative Templates / Start Menu and Taskbar.

2. Double-click Remove All Programs list from the Start menu.

3. Select the Enabled radial button.

4. Press Apply and OK.

5. Close the Group Policy Editor.
