JSI Tip 9128. The Hibernate tab is NOT available in the Power Options Properties dialog in Windows XP Professional x64 Edition?

The subject behavior occurs because the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition is NOT designed to support hibernation on computers with more than 4 gigabytes of RAM.

If you require hibernation support, you must reduce the amount of installed RAM memory to 4 GB or less.
