JSI Tip 8999. HTML Help files do not work correctly after you uninstall security update 890175 (MS05-001) for Windows 2000?

You may experience the following behaviors if you uninstall security update 890175 (MS05-001):

• Non-administrators are unable to open some Help files.
• HTML Help files do not properly function.
• HHCtrl objects (HTML Help ActiveX controls) are not rendered correctly on HTML pages.

To resolve these problems:

1. Install critical update 811630.

2. Install security update 890175 (MS05-001).
