JSI Tip 8846. The TCP/IP socket connection in a Java Virtual Machine closes after the local time on Windows 2000 changes?

When a Java Virtual Machine session opens a TCP/IP socket connection to a server, if the local time on the Windows 2000 client changes, the TCP/IP socket connection may close, and you receive:

System error 64 has occurred.
The specified network name is no longer available.

This behavior will occur if the client time, which was synchronized with the server when the connection was opened, is set greater than the connection timeout time.
