JSI Tip 8766. When you use a Windows 2000 FTP server to transfer files larger than 4,294,967,296 bytes, you may receive 'Connection closed by remote host' and your server hangs?

The subject behavior will occur if the FTP GET command is referencing a file that is located in a redirected folder share on a remote computer.

To workaround this issue, DO NOT use a share located on a remote computer to host files that are larger than 4,294,967,296 bytes.

NOTE: The FTP server in Windows Server 2003 DOES NOT experience this issue.

NOTE: It is unlikely that this behavior will be fixed.
