JSI Tip 8534. When you physically connect a hard disk that is format with the NTFS 4.0 file system to a Windows Server 2003, you receive 'There is not enough space on the disk' when you access it?

The subject behavior will occur if the NTFS 4.0 formatted hard disk has less than 256 KB (KiloBytes) of free space, because Window Server 2003 tries to convert the file system to NTFS 5.0, which requires a minimum of 256 KB of free space.

NOTE: The drive can still be physically connected to a Windows NT 4.0 SP6a computer, as the failed conversion did NOT modify the drive.
