JSI Tip 8219. When you use the SHIFT key to type characters into a text box, the characters are repeated?

As an example of the subject behavior, if you press the SHIFT and type J, followed by lowercase erold, into a text box displayed by Internet Explorer, you may find that the text box contains JJerold.

The problem can occur if you install the MS03-045 security patch.

To workaround this behavior, use the CAPS LOCK key to type uppercase letters, or Copy / Paste from another program.
