JSI Tip 7875. When you attempt to print to a USB 2.0 printer that is connected via USB 2.0 PC card adapter, your job does NOT print?

In addition to the subject behavior, Windows XP may not issue any error message.

Some PC card adapters, like the Ricoh USB 2.0 PC card adapter, don't work in Windows XP.

To workaround this behavior, disable the USB enhanced host controller:

1. Right-click My Computer and press Manage.

2. Use Device Manager to expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.

3. Right-click the USB enhanced host controller and press Disable.

4. Press Yes to confirm.

5. Close Device Manager.

NOTE: Disabling the USB enhanced host controller will lose USB 2.0 functionality, reverting to USB 1.1 functionality.
