JSI Tip 7788. Your Display Properties change when you select a different lanuguage in the MUI version of Windows XP?

When you change the menus and dialog language in the Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI) on Windows XP, your next logon displays default Display Properties.

This behavior is by design, so that new new fonts and user interface items can be added.

To change the display properties.

1. Log off and log on.

2. Right-click your desktop and press Properties.

3. Select the Appearance tab.

4. Make the changes that you desire.

5. Select the Themes tab.

6. Make the changes that you desire.

5. Select the Desktop tab.

6. Make the changes that you desire.

7. Press Apply and OK.

NOTE: See the MUI FAQ.
