JSI Tip 7664. When you play a DVD and display on the laptop and secondary monitor, it doesn't work when batter power is low?

If you can play a DVD and display it on both your laptop and secondary monitor, you may find that it doesn't work when you are running on battery power, and the battery charge is low.

This behavior will occur if your MPEG-2 decompressor does not fully support the VMR (Video Mixer Renderer). Windows Media Player 9 series for Windows XP requires a compliant MPEG-2 decompressor.

To resolve this problem, either upgrade to the latest MPGEG-2 decompressor, or use the Media Player Tools menu to navigate through Options / Performance / Advanced and clear the Battery Optimized Performance box.
