JSI Tip 7661. When you use imaged servers to join a Windows Server 2003 Network Load Balancing cluster, the first node comes online, but subsequent nodes do not?

When you experience the subject behavior, you may receive the following error:

No interfaces are available for installing a new cluster.

If you installed the network adapter as part of the image, they all have the same Network GUIDs in their registry, which causes the subsequent nodes adapters to be unable to register.

To workaround this issue:

1. Remove and re-install the network adapters, on the subsequent nodes, that you want use for Network Load Balancing.

2. Use the Network Load Balancing Manager to configure Network Load Balancing.
