The syntax for using the NET SEND command is:
NET SEND \{name | * | /DOMAIN\[:name\] | /USERS\} message
You can create a multi-line message by using any of the following in the message text:
- Press CTRL+T after the last character of a line.
- Press ALT+0182 on the numeric keypad after the last character of a line.
- Insert a ¶ after the last character of a line, using Start / Programs / Accessories / System Tools / Character Map.
To send the following message:
line1
line2
line3.
message could contain:
line1¶line2¶line3.
