JSI Tip 7216. Internet Explorer on Windows XP shuts down when you set Windows and buttons to Windows XP style?

When you open Internet Explorer, you receive an access violation and the program shuts down.

This behavior can occur if you set set Windows and buttons to Windows XP style.

To workaround this problem:

1. Right-click an empty area of the desktop and press Properties.

2. Select the Appearance tab.

3. Toggle the Windows and buttons drop-down box to Windows Classic style.

NOTE: It is likely that a future service pack will fix this problem.
