JSI Tip 7119. How do I stop a hyperlink from hijacking my Internet Explorer window?

If you have an open Internet Explorer window and you click on a hyperlink in another application, like e-mail, Windows may hijack your existing Internet Explorer session to open the hyperlink.

To workaround this behavior disable the Reuse windows for launching shortcuts or set the AllowWindowReuse Value NAME, a REG_DWORD data type, to 0.

NOTE: You will have to log off and log on for this setting to become effective.
