JSI Tip 6824. You cannot agree to the terms of the EULA from the Windows Update site because the Yes and No buttons are NOT visible?

When you download from Windows Update, you are prompted to agree or disagree with the terms of the End User License Agreement, but the Yes and No buttons are NOT visible.

This problem can occur if you are using Internet Explorer Accessibility and/or Font settings, which makes the EULA too large to display the complete dialog box.

NOTE This, and a similar problem with CHAT Preferences, can be caused by Windows Accessibility and/or desktop FONT settings. This behavior can also occur if Style Sheets functionality is NOT turned on in Internet Explorer.

If you want to change your Internet Explorer Accessibility settings:

1. On the Tools menu, press Internet Options.

2. On the General tab, press the Accessibility button.

3. Clear all the check boxes.

4. Press OK.

5. Press OK.

If you want to keep your Internet Explorer Accessibility settings:

1. On the Tools menu, press Internet Options.

2. On the General tab, press the Fonts button.

3. In the Web page font box, select Times New Roman.

4. Press OK.

5. Press OK.

NOTE: If the buttons are still not visible when you re-visit Windows Update, use the View menu to lower the Text Size.
