JSI Tip 6303. When you start Windows, you receive 'Hard disk drive failure'?

When you start your computer, you receive:

Hard disk drive failure.

If you start your computer with a Windows 98 Startup disk and use Fdisk.exe to view the partition information, you receive:

No fixed disk present.

These errors will occur if any of the following are true:

- Your hard disk is NOT properly installed.

- Your hard disk is NOT properly configured in your computer's BIOS.

- Your hard disk is broken.

To resolve this problem, replace your hard disk. See:
