After you upgrade to Windows XP, your BellSouth DSL connections fails. You may receive:
Error e0041 fail on create device ntspppoe49.
While BellSouth is a great DSL provider, if DSL is improperly configured for Windows XP and a FastAccess Modem, you must reconfigure.
To fix this problem, contact BellSouth for the configuration materials, unless you can access ftp://software:[email protected]/fastaccess/documents/Instr_XP_NativeClient.pdf.
