JSI Tip 5683. How do I Pin a program to the Windows XP / Windows .NET Start menu?

To add a program to the left side of the Start menu, above the top separator bar:

1. Use Windows Explorer to navigate to the programname.exe file.

2. Right-click the programname.exe file and press Pin to Start Menu.

To Unpin the program from the Start menu:

Right-click the Pinned program on the Start menu and press Unpin from Start Menu.
