JSI Tip 5552. How can I disable the Windows XP start up, log on, log off, and shut down status messages?

To disable the subject status messages:

1. Copy / Paste the following to a nostatus.reg file:

REGEDIT4

"DisableStatusMessages"=dword:00000001

2. Merge the nostatus.reg file with your registry.
