JSI Tip 5308. Windows Help incorrectly documents the use of 'country=' in Config.nt?

The Help file in all current Windows NT-based operating systems (Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows XP) incorrectly documents the use of the country= entry in Config.nt as enabling the MS-DOS subsystem to use international time, dates, currency, case conversions, and decimal separators.

Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows XP all use Regional Options, or Regional and Language Options, to determine how the date, time, currency, decimal separators, etc. are displayed. When a country= entry is present in Config.nt, both CMD.EXE and COMMAND.COM replace the entry based upon the Regional Settings of the logged on user.
