JSI Tip 4641. More Windows 2000 browse list problems?

In tip 3044 » Windows 2000 browse list problems, I described how having File and Print Sharing disabled can cause Event 8032 messages. Other reasons for:

Event ID: 8032 
Source BROWSER  
Type Error  
Description: The browser service has failed to retrieve the backup list too many times on transport \Device\NetBT_N1001.
             The backup browser is stopping.

are:

1. The master browser is multi-homed (has more than 1 NIC) and File and Print Sharing is bound to more than one of them, or the NIC with File and Print Sharing is NOT the primary NIC.

2. Having the NetBEUI protocol installed can cause this error.
