JSI Tip 4536. Windows XP terminates the Remote Assistance connection?

After using Helpctr to request assistance via e-mail, don't let the expert take too long after taking control of your computer.

If the 'server' enters Sleep or Hibernate, and the connection times out, the client screen goes blank and the expert cannot submit a new message.

The only resolution is to establish a new connection.

The problem is caused because Terminal Services does not detect when the 'server' returns from its' sleep. It is designed to only establish a connection from the client.
