JSI Tip 4456. Windows XP cannot run a scheduled task configured with a null password?

When you view a scheduled task that did not run at it's scheduled time, you receive:

The scheduled task did not run because no user account password was entered.

You may not use an local account that has a blank (null) password.

Windows XP is a member of the Windows NT (NT 5.1) family of products and requires a password to improve security.
