After upgrading from Win98, sound events do not function correctly?
You may also receive an error when you configure sound events in Control Panel / Sounds And Multimedia:
Windows cannot find the file C:\Windows\Media\soundfile.wav. Do you want to continue to use this sound event anyway?
It is likely that the sound files have been moved and the sound events have not been changed from <Drive:>\Windows\Media.
To fix the problem, either copy sound files from %SystemRoot%\Media to <Drive:>\Windows\Media, or use Control Panel / Sounds And Multimedia to configure the sound events to point to %SystemRoot%\Media.
