Cachemov is a GUI tool for moving your offline files to a different volume.
If you use a localized version of Windows 2000, Cachemov issues the following error at the Check the destination stage:
Failed to reset security on cache. Move cannot continue.
The problem is that Cachemov doesn't use the SID to build the ACL of the new folder, relying on the Administrators group instead.
To workaround this feature, use either of the following:
1. Rename the built-in administrators group to Administrators.
2. Create an Administrators group and populate it with the appropriate members. Manually Grant this group Full Control on the target folder.
