JSI Tip 3792. How can I prevent a user from manually running or ending a scheduled task?

In tip 3776 and tip 3777, we restricted what a user could schedule.

To remove the Run and End Task items from a tasks context menu, you can enable the Prevent Task Run or End Group Policy at Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Task Scheduler or User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Task Scheduler.

If the policy is Not configured, you can implement it in the registry by setting the Execution value name, a REG_DWORD data type, to 1. To implement for all users of a computer, change the data value at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Task Scheduler5.0. To implement for a specific user, make the change at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Task Scheduler5.0.
