The easiest way to remove the Add/Remove Windows Components from the Add/Remove Programs bar is to implement the Hide Add/Remove Windows Components page Group Policy at User Configuration\Administrative Templates\Control Panel\Add/Remove Programs.
If the policy is Not configured, you can use Regedt32 to navigate to
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Uninstall. The NoWindowsSetupPage value name,
a REG_DWORD data type, can have the following data values:
0 - The policy is Disabled or Not configured.
1 - The Add/Remove Windows Components button is removed.
