JSI Tip 3576. How do I configure the Internet Explorer default download folder?

The default Internet Explorer download folder is configured at:

Key Name:          HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer
Name:              Download Directory
Type:              REG_SZ
Data:              <Drive:>\folder

If you wish to constantly change it, start IE with a batch file and use Regedit or the freeware REG to set it before IE starts.
