JSI Tip 3446. Windows 2000 Service Pack 1 generates errors in Setupapi.log?

When you inspect the Setupapi.log file after applying Windows 2000 Service Pack 1, you notice entries similar to:

Copying file \\Name\I386\Xcopy.ex_ to C:\Winntsrv\System32\Dllcache\Xcopy.exe
An unsigned or incorrectly signed file (\\Name\Xcopy.ex_) was installed. 
Error 0x800b0003: The form specified for the subject is not one supported or known by the specified trust provider.

Microsoft failed to digitally sign the Update.inf file.

You can safely ignore these information messages.

NOTE: You will see similar messages in the SvcPack.log file.
