JSI Tip 3366. You receive critical and non-critical errors after you install Windows 2000 for dual boot?

If you install Windows 2000 for dual boot, into the same partition as a previous operating system that uses the Program Files folder, you have performed an unsupported install.

The problem is caused by the fact that each operating system uses some 'same name' components that have different binaries. These components may not work in the alternate operating system.

Dual booting is only supported when you install each operating system in to a separate partition.
