JSI Tip 3331. You receive a 'Stop 0x0000007B' when converting basic disk to dynamic disk in Windows 2000?

While converting a basic disk, that contains your Windows 2000 boot partition, to dynamic disk, you receive:

STOP 0x0000007B Inaccessible boot device.

The basic disk contains an unsupported partition type, like an OEM diagnostic or configuration partition.

Windows 2000 supports the following basic disk partition types:

Before you convert a basic disk, you must use Disk Management to remove the unsupported partition. This may alter the ARC path.
