The help files of the Windows 2000 server products, including service pack 1, have incorrect information in the Setting up replication of logon scripts topic.
The topic talks about the Directory Replicator service and directs you to place the logon scripts in an export folder, so that they will be replicated.
This help topic is left over from Windows NT 4.0.
In windows 2000, logon scripts are stored in the Sysvol folder, which is automatically replicated to all domain controllers by the File Replication Service (FRS), a multi-threaded, multi-master replication engine.
If you have a mixed mode domain, see tip 2068.
