JSI Tip 2440. How do I get subfolders to synchronize by default in Windows 2000 Professional?

When you synchronize offline folders, subfolders do not synchronize by default.

To enable subfolder synchronization by default:

01. Sart / Run / mmc and press OK.

02. Press Add/Remove on the Console menu.

03. Press Add.

04. Press Group Policy.

05. Press Add.

06. With Local Computer selected in Group Policy Object, press Finish.

07. Press Close.

08. Press OK.

09. In the Console Root, select Local Computer Policy.

10. Press the + sign next to Local Computer Policy.

11. Press the + sign next to Computer Configuration.

12. Press the + sign next to Administrative Templates.

13. Press the + sign next to Network.

14. Press Offline Files.

15. Double-click Subfolders always available offline in the right hand pane.

16. Press Enabled.

17. Press OK.

18. Exit the Microsoft Management Console (MMC) and respond No to save the settings.
