JSI Tip 2284. How do I add the Encrypt/Decrypt command to a right-click context menu?

To add the Encrypt/Decrypt command to a right-click context menu in Windows 2000, use Regedt32 to navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

On the Edit menu, Add Value name EncryptionContextMenu as a type REG_DWORD. Set the data value to 1.

Shutdown and restart your computer.
